Chess Board
The curriculum provided by the Chess Club of Fairfield County builds logical and critical thinking, helps develop patience and concentration and connects the students with the global historical evolution of chess strategy. In this beginner class, the student will learn the basics of the game of chess, including but not limited to: board set up, value of pieces, elementary tactics and strategy and elementary endgame.

  • DROP OFF & PICK UP FOR CHESS IS AT THE BACK ENTRANCE OF THE 2ND GRADE HALLWAY. NOTIFICATION IS NEEDED IF SOMEONE OTHER THAN THOSE LISTED ON THE REGISTRATION FORM WILL BE PICKING UP YOUR CHILD. PLEASE NOTE PROPER ID MUST BE PRESENTED.
