Engineering for Kids
Engineering for Kids provides STEM based Academic Enrichment Programs for children ages 4 to 14. Our mission is to prepare students for the global economy by providing programs focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Our inquiry based Programs are designed to be an exciting, fun, hands-on, experience with STEM related projects. We offer curriculum correlating to the following national standards: Science (NSES), Technology and Engineering (ITEEA), and Mathematics (NCTM).

SPRING
Mechanical Engineering
Grades 3-5 , Wednesdays, 6 weeks, $160

During the Mechanical Engineering unit, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and improve a variety of machines and mechanical systems. Students learn basics of energy, traction, aerodynamics, and durability while constructing roller coasters, eggstreme defense vehicles, and an incredibly fast air-powered custom dragster. 

Jr. Mechanical Engineering 
Grades K-2 , Thursdays , 6 weeks, $160

The Junior Mechanical Engineering classes introduce our youngest engineers to fundamental concepts of energy, materials, and movement. Through open and focused exploration, students explore and construct their own roller coasters, catapults, cars, and more.
