EAC Painting The Figure With Oils

Instructor: Eddie Nino

In this workshop, students of all levels will embark on a comprehensive examination of how to paint the live model by using oil paints. While working from a single pose, students will gain a better understanding of crucial elements needed that will maximize the impact of their paintings such as: the thumbnail sketch, drawing fundamentals, value relationships, color mixing, and anatomy. Depending on the student’s experience and goals the teacher will conduct a step-by-step approach, which will enable the student to both bring their own personal touch to their piece and also acquire helpful technical knowledge. Teacher demonstrations and individual feedback will ensure the student’s understanding on the subject.

9:30-5:30 with an hour lunch break from 12:30-1:30
